Jan 22nd- The Chattanooga leg of the trip is coming to an end. My time down here has been great. I was most psyched with my 2nd ascent of The Shield v12/13 one of the most beautiful lines in the south. Now that is what I call a hole in 1! Next up So iLL...

Jan 29th- Im happy to have made it to So iLL. We have been going out to The Roost. Where I got my first FA of the year- The Year of the Renegade v11/12? Its a super steep line out faint pockets, with a nice high finish. I also got a chance to check out some of Daves classics like The Ring of Fire v10. More pics in the So iLL gallery and here is a link to some of the stuff we checked out there last year. New videos coming soon.

January 25th- In a turn for the worse, I have injured my knee once again and this time it will require surgery. If you cant wait to see the graphic photos, you can re-live my first ACL tear back in 2003 at a

Jan 10th- Hueco has been a refreshing change after taking 3 years off.
When in Hueco it is best to be a hunter, searching out new problems.
Some of the problems that I was most proud of were To Die For, over by the Ghetto Simulator on North Mountain and A Single Word on the tip of East Spur. On the same wall G.P. Salvo made an impressive ascent of a two tiered highball project he dubbed Dark Silhouette. Abbey Smith also made an impressive 3rd ascent of the mysterious Silent Sir. Also check out a new video from Hueco on a first ascent, I called Dune at MomentumVM.com. The whole experience left us hungry for more and aware of Hueco's bountiful fruits!
Jan 25th- The Outdoor Retailer Show was a good for Cryptochild and So iLL, we were even mentioned on the DeadPointMag.com.

Oct 31st- So iLL has been going well and it is slowly cooling off. A perfect time to climb and toast "to friends".! Check out some of the videos we have been producing down here in the MomentumVM archives, look for> The Key to So iLL!
Nov 10th- Our time here is So iLL has been fantastic! This type of stone has always been my favorite. While there we were lucky to send some projects, I sent 4 new problems and Abbey Smith was psyched to make the 7th ascent of the classic Highball Guns+Roses. She is also in the process of writing a feature article on the mysterious So iLL.

Feb 6th- The surgery yesterday went off without a hitch . Here is a quick rundown of what went down. Now lets just hope my muscles don't shrivel away to nothing. You can watch a video of the progress- me getting my staples out.

May 13th- After all the work here at the CryptoShop on the New XL Udder, we finally have a hard copy to do some product testing.
May 10th- Ahh! Baby Steps.. I got out climbing last weekend for the first time at The Horn in Utah. Although I only did warm ups, it was still great to get out and check out some cool stone.

June 23rd- Psyched to be back in Colorado, the weather is so nice! I have been super busy though wrapping up things with CryptoChild for the upcoming tradeshow. Check out some mini jugs I just finished!

Sept 28th- After 10 days of hard work I finally finished the enormous feature that I was working on. A collaboration between So iLL, CryptoChild and Rockwerx. This was a super fun project and the biggest hold I have ever shaped. Look out for more in the future.
Sept 25th- Injury Update- Well its been 8 months since my surgery and I guess I would say I'm 80% recovered. I hope to progress in the next two months and be back on the rock for the winter season.
